Proven Track Record with Government Agencies: GRG clients are export credit agencies and development banks who require the highest standards of professionalism and competence. We have delivered strong economic results in a manner consistent with rigorous governmental standards.

  • In 2004, the Export-Import Bank of the United States awarded GRG an exclusive global contract for the recovery of paid claims. This contract was re-competed and re-awarded to GRG in 2009.
  • In 2005, OPIC likewise contracted with GRG as its exclusive agent for the recovery of debts around the world. In 2010, OPIC re-competed this contract and re-awarded it to GRG. In a separate competition, GRG was also recently selected by OPIC to provide in-country due diligence services to assist the OPIC Funds Group in evaluating projects.
  • FMO (the development agency of the Netherlands) engaged GRG 2008 to perform a discrete recovery assignment. In connection with that engagement, we were able to gain for FMO majority ownership and control of a 300+ employee Ecuadorean food processing company. For a period of five years, FMO and GRG were joint venture partners in the ownership of the company and control of the Board of Directors. After five years of position the company, we sold it to a multinational food products concern.
  • GRG also serves as a recovery and/or due diligent contractor (on a non-exclusive basis) for a number of European and Asian export credit agencies and development institutions.

Dedicated Professionals: GRG’s staff includes foreign professionals with practical in-country experience in law, finance, business, and politics. GRG’s multi-cultural and multi-lingual staff has experience in due diligence, asset searches, collections, law, business, and government in many countries and includes attorneys from the U.S.A, Mexico, Central and South America, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and the Philippines. Two have held important political offices (in Venezuela and Colombia). Their experiences and personal contacts provide avenues to information not available elsewhere.

The team members are carefully vetted, and the protracted relationship over the years enables us to use the network confidently, and in a manner that best uses the skill sets and experience of the network members.
